چکیده
Aims: To test the effect of bacterial biocontrol agents (Pseudomonas-TNAU-Pf1) and fungicides (Tricyclazole) individually their integration as seed treatment foliar spray against finger millet blast under field conditions.
Study Design: The experiments were conducted in a Randomized Block design.
Place Duration Study: at Regional Research Station farm, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Paiyur, Krishnagiri District, Nadu, India, during 2016-17 2017-18.
Methodology: Two to evaluate efficacy talc-based formulation Pseudomonas -TNAU-Pf1 Tricyclazole combination application for management with five treatments four replications using variety Paiyur 2. bioagent fungicide applied spray.
Results: results revealed that (10g/kg) plus two sprays tricyclazole (0.1%) one maximum tillering phase another heading was significantly most effective reducing leaf, neck both seasons. recorded 1.65 1.25PDI leaf blast, 0.33 0.22% 2.55 1.33% first second season, respectively. also highest grain yield 2663 2543 kg/ha BC ratio 1:3.94 1:3.85 respectively.
Conclusion: Seed TNAU-Pf1 found be incidence disease increasing millet.

متن کاملComparative Genomics and Association Mapping Approaches for Blast Resistant Genes in Finger Millet Using SSRs
The major limiting factor for production and productivity of finger millet crop is blast disease caused by Magnaporthe grisea. Since, the genome sequence information available in finger millet crop is scarce, comparative genomics plays a very important role in identification of genes/QTLs linked to the blast resistance genes using SSR markers. In the present study, a total of 58 genic SSRs were...

متن کاملFinger millet in nutrition transition: an infant weaning food ingredient with chronic disease preventive potential.
Micronutrient malnutrition in the context of the global nutrition transition presents unique nutrition intervention challenges. While the most common consequences (stunting, impaired neurocognitive development, increased child morbidity–mortality and maternal morbidity) persist, micronutrient malnutrition may also have an impact on diabetes and other chronic diseases. Under these circumstances,...
متن کاملStudy on Differential Response of Pyricularia grisea Isolates from Rice, Finger Millet and Panicum sp. with Local and Alien Media, and Their Host Range
Blast (Pyricularia grisea) is an economically important disease of rice and finger millet in Nepal. Isolates of the fungus from different hosts differed in their response in media for mycelial growth and sporulation. Radial mycelial growth (RMG) and days of sporulation (DOS) of P. grisea were studied by culturing three fungal isolates from rice, finger millet and Panicum sp. on six different me...
